Mega Charities Foundation For decades, Mega Foods', Mega Marts' and Mega Lubes' corporate giving have funded youth programs, food pantries and education initiatives, among many others. The Mega Charities Foundation was created to further strengthen our commitment to the communities we serve. Mega Charities was created in 2003 and its mission is to help youth, educational, and charitable organizations through-out the Chippewa Valley.
Mega Charities has donated to many organizations in the Chippewa Valley. Those organizations include: United Cerebral Palsy, American Heart Association, Boys and Girls Club, and Special Olympics. In addition, many community enhancing capital improvement projects were supported. The following are a few that were supported; Robbins and Pederson Elementary schools for handicap accessible playground equipment, Chippewa Valley YMCA for a remodel/expansion project and Carson Park for their turf project and Hallie Sports fields. Mega Charities also supports continuing education of our employees and their children with scholarship programs. Mega Charities has already donated over $10,000.00 in scholarship money.
Mega Charities has donated over $75,000 dollars to local organizations, scholarships and community enhancing capital improvement projects. Support for Mega Charities comes in many forms; Mega’s Holiday Preview, Mega’s Golf outing and individual donations. In September, Mega Charities held their 4th annual golf and steak outing. With this event Mega raised over $15,000 for Mega Charities. As an employee or member of Mega you can feel proud of Mega Charities' support and dedication to our community. Brick Hopkins |
